This page explains what personal information Ashvio collects when you use this site, why, and what your options are.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly:
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text).
- Order and delivery details: shipping name, phone number, address, city, state and PIN code.
- Anything you submit voluntarily, such as a product review.
We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. Online payments are handled entirely by our payment processor, Cashfree; see Payments below.
How we use it
- To create and fulfil your orders, and to keep you signed in.
- To send order confirmations, invoices and account-related emails.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse of the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies
Ashvio uses two essential cookies to keep you signed in and to recognise your cart. Both are set to be inaccessible to page scripts (httpOnly), and neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Payments
Online payments (UPI) are processed by Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd., a payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. When you pay online, your payment details are handled directly by Cashfree under its own privacy and security practices; Ashvio only receives confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, plus a payment reference id.
Who we share information with
We share the minimum information needed to get your order to you: your shipping details with the courier or delivery partner handling that order, and your payment details with Cashfree for an online payment. We do not share your information with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can review and end any of your signed-in sessions, or ask us to access, correct or delete your account information, by contacting us using the details on our Contact page.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date above.
